Our Goals

The College Prep Project is designed to help students explore college, career options and enroll in college programs after high school graduation. The project activities include the following: 1) Academic Planning; 2) Financial Aid and Scholarship Advising; 3) College Advising and Planning; 4) College Campus Life and 5) College Entrance Exam Prep

Our Objectives

• To identify college bound low-income African American students
• To advise the students about college readiness in the areas of academic planning, financial aid and scholarships, college planning and college entrance exam prep.
• To expose the students to college campus life

Our Success

• 100% of the students involved in the campus tour will be exposed to college
• 100% of the students involved will apply to college
• 100% of the student’s college application fees will be waived
• 50% of the students applying for college admissions will receive scholarships
• 75% of the students applying for admissions will attend historically Black colleges
